dc.description.abstract This document serves as a comprehensive course companion tailored for undergraduate students in control engineering. Designed for a 45-hour course at Echahid Cheikh Larbi Tebessi University - Tebessa, Algeria, its primary aim is to explore essential aspects of digital control systems in a concise yet thorough manner. Students are expected to have a solid foundation in mathematical concepts such as function manipulation, integral calculus, and a strong understanding of continuous-time linear systems. Building upon this foundation, the course covers key themes including the structure of digital control systems, signal sampling, representation of sampled systems, and analysis and synthesis techniques. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on sampling and signal reconstruction techniques, enabling students to study stability and evaluate the precision of sampled control systems effectively. Additionally, students explore the RST controller, a widely-used synthesis method, through a combination of theoretical concepts, practical examples, and hands-on exercises. In essence, this course equips students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to comprehend, analyze, and design digital control systems, preparing them for the challenges of modern engineering in this dynamic field en_US
