dc.description.abstract The aim of this work is to propose a successful contribution to Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) strategies for photovoltaic (PV) Stand-Alone systems; the Conventional Incremental Conductance (CON-INC) algorithm is used as a basis. In order to overcome the disadvantages of the CON-INC method, which include oscillations, imperfect MPPT, and slow MPP tracking. These drawbacks are caused by using a classic INC algorithm with a fixed duty cycle disturbance step. It is not capable of providing the ideal duty cycle, especially when faced with changing weather conditions (temperature and irradiation). Our first proposal involved ensuring Sliding Mode Control’s performance by comparing it with the CON-INC. In addition, the optimization of the CON-INC as a reference is divided into two approaches as follows, first a combination-based controller is Fuzzy Logic that is integrated into INC to treat and improve the signal of duty cycle of CON-INC. Secondly, using Particle Swarm Optimization PSO to regulate and compute its gains of PI that integrated into CON-INC. The proposed methods have a better efficiency compared to the CON-INC algorithm, as confirmed by simulation results in different scenarios. en_US
