This dissertation focuses on the control, modeling, and simulation of grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems. A key component of this study is a comparative analysis of various Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) methods, which are essential for optimizing the efficiency of PV systems. Different MPPT algorithms are implemented and evaluated in terms of tracking efficiency, dynamic response, and algorithmic complexity. The performance of each technique is assessed through detailed simulations under varying environmental conditions. The results provide a comprehensive comparison that highlights the strengths and limitations of each method, thereby supporting the selection of the most suitable MPPT control strategy for enhancing the power quality and operational performance of grid-connected PV systems. |
