Abstract

مظاهرات 17 أكتوبر1961م، من أبرز المحطات في كفاح الجالية الجزائرية ضد الاستعمار الفرنسي خارج حدود الوطن، حيث نظمتها الجالية الجزائرية في فرنسا احتجاجا على إجراءات القمع والتمييز التي فرضتها عليهم السلطات الفرنسية، خاصة قرار حضر التجوال. خرج ألاف الجزائريين في مظاهرات سلمية، فواجهتهم الشرطة الفرنسية بعنف شديد أدى الى سقوط مئات القتلى والمفقودين. ان هذا الحدث يعتبر حلقة محورية في نضال الجالية لدعم الثورة التحريرية، فهي توضح كيف أثر الحدث على الرأي العام الدولي وفضح سياسات الاستعمار الفرنسي داخل أراضيه.

The October 17, 1961 demonstrations are among the most significant milestones in the struggle of the Algerian community against French colonialism outside the homeland. Organized by the Algerian community in France, the protests were a response to the repression and discrimination imposed by the French authorities, especially the curfew order. Thousands of Algerians took to the streets in peaceful demonstrations, but were met with extreme violence by the French police, resulting in hundreds of deaths and disappearances.This event is considered a pivotal moment in the diaspora’s support for the Algerian liberation revolution. It illustrates how the incident impacted international public opinion and exposed the colonial policies of France within its own territory.
