This study addresses a topic in the history of the Algerian Rovelution during the era of French colonialism, it focuses on the political and military organization in the sixth Wilaya (province) From 1956 to 1962, starting from its strategic location and its geographical borders linking northern Algeria of the African borders, to the well-structured political and military organization established by the Soummam Conference in 1962, which emphasized unity and discipline. it also highlights the contribution made y the wilaya to the Algerian revolution in general and the desert regions in particular, especially in terms of armament, structure, training and supply.
It also discusses the wilay's role in the revolution, its field operations and battles (notably-the battles of checkpoints), and its strategic project to confront colonial plans aimed at thwarting the revolution
