dc.description.abstract This textbook is intended as an introductory resource for Physics 2, with a particular emphasis on electricity and magnetism. It is primarily designed for first-year students enrolled in science and technology programs. In developing this material, our objective has been to build upon the foundational knowledge typically acquired in high school, thereby facilitating a smooth and coherent transition to the more advanced study of physics at the university level. One of the main challenges encountered in preparing this course concerns the mathematical framework. Physics, as a discipline grounded in precision and rigor, requires a more formal treatment of concepts that are often introduced in a simplified manner during secondary education. For this reason, particular attention has been devoted to presenting and reinforcing the mathematical tools that we regard as indispensable for a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. en_US
