Summary :
This study, titled "The Role of University Accompaniment in Developing Entrepreneurial Skills Among University Youth," aimed to uncover the role that university accompaniment plays in developing and fostering entrepreneurial skills among university students who own entrepreneurial projects. This was achieved by identifying the main programs offered by the Entrepreneurship Development Center at the University of Tébessa to support students in their entrepreneurial journey, the key skills acquired and developed in project holders during their accompaniment period, and the methods used to promote entrepreneurship.
The main research question was: What is the role of university accompaniment in developing entrepreneurial skills among university youth? This question branched into three sub-questions, and to answer them, three hypotheses were formulated as follows:
• Systematic training at the Entrepreneurship Development Center at the University of Tébessa contributes to the development of technical skills among university youth who own projects. • Continuous guidance and counseling at the Entrepreneurship Development Center at the University of Tébessa help support the communication skills of university youth who own projects. • Integrated support provided by the Entrepreneurship Development Center at the University of Tébessa enhances the leadership skills of university youth who own projects.
To achieve the study's objectives, the descriptive method was adopted as it is suitable for studying roles. Regarding data collection tools, the questionnaire was used as the primary tool and was sent to all 68 individuals in the study sample. Interview and observation tools were also utilized. A set of statistical methods for social sciences was employed. The study concluded with a set of results that align with the study's hypotheses, as they were relatively achieved. Therefore, we conclude that university accompaniment plays an important and prominent role in developing the entrepreneurial skills of young people. Furthermore, the Entrepreneurship Development Center at the University of Tébessa plays a very important role in accompanying young project holders throughout their journey and transforming their entrepreneurial ideas into realistic projects. |
