Abstract

In this study, we have dealt with the topic of "Electronic Administration and its Role in the Effective Performance of University Libraries” . This research aims at identifying the effectiveness of the use of administration in university library from librarians’ perspective .At the beginning, the topic was tackled theoretically by addressing all the elements that serve the subject. To attain the objective of this paper , a survey was conducted in the central library of Larbi Ben M’hidi University in Oum El Bouaghi . An interview ,a tool in gathering and analyzing data, was conducted with the library staff .The findings show to what extent the central library of Oum El Bouaghi University applies the electronic management and its contribution to developing and improving the performance of workers, especially during the exceptional circumstances of Corona pandemic . At the end , This paper presents a set of conclusions and suggestions about the necessity of applying modern information and communication technology in order to consolidate the electronic management style in university libraries.
